Week Twelve

This article talks about electric cars and the things that are better about them such as batteries that are able to be changed more quickly than filling up a gas tank. It talks about getting state tax incentives if you get an electric car, although they have limited range and can be very expensive.

This article is useful to my research because it helps to show that when the obstacles and barriers above are resolved is when the electric cars will become more mainstream. It also is helpful because it shows both positive and negative aspects of purchasing an electric car.

I know that Jeep has been working on a system that allows the car to self charge every time the wheels rotate allowing the car to only need 1 gallon of gas for every 120 miles and it doesnt have to stop to charge at charging stations. I hope that the barriers can be broken and energy efficient cars will be big soon.
