Week Twelve

This article talks about electric cars and the things that are better about them such as batteries that are able to be changed more quickly than filling up a gas tank. It talks about getting state tax incentives if you get an electric car, although they have limited range and can be very expensive.

This article is useful to my research because it helps to show that when the obstacles and barriers above are resolved is when the electric cars will become more mainstream. It also is helpful because it shows both positive and negative aspects of purchasing an electric car.

Week Eleven

This article talks about the electric cars that work for people with families. It talks about not having to have a big gas-guzzling car just to be able to fit your family. There are a few types of electric cars that have more seats and work well for families. Some of them are the Toyota RAV4 EV and the Nissan LEAF.

This article is valuable to my research project because it answers the question that some may have on whether or not there are electric cars that are suitable for families. It is important for me to show that there are electric cars out there that can work for most everyone. Giving examples will help to make the paper more useful.

Week Ten

This article talks about electric cars and the problems that they can cause. It talks about how changing to electric cars isn't always a good thing for the environment because ethanol is very bad. Ethanol can trap pollutions and worsen global warming. Electric cars are only good for the environment if the source of power is a clean source such as wind or water.

This source is useful to my project because it shows the bad to electric cars. It shows that it is not perfect and there are still things to consider for when thinking about switching to electric cars. Although, electric cars if they are powered by the right source are very sustainable.

Week Nine

The article talks about how electric cars will become even more popular and better if a battery is invented that allows the car to run for 300 miles on one charge. It will also help to create less pollution which will help to lower the effect on climate change.

This article is useful for my research because it shows even more ways that the electric car can be improved to not only make it better for those who are driving it, but also to make it better for the environment. If this battery is invented the electric cars will start to be mass produced and will be used by a lot more people.

Week Eight

This article talks about the types of electric cars. It talks about battery, plug in, and hybrid cars. There are also neighborhood and off-road electric vehicles. Each type of car is talked about and details on how each work are included.

This will be useful for my research project because it shows the differences in the different types of electric cars and acknowledges that there is more than one type. It will also be useful to give a basic description of how each work.

Week Seven

Source 1:
The main points of this article are about how transportation takes a lot of energy in developed and developing countries. There needs to be effective transport systems. The systems that are currently being used are not sustainable and will eventually cause problems. Action needs to be taken in order to make these systems more sustainable, reliable, and safe.

Source 2:
Sustainable transportation has made improvements over the last several years. Buses and bikes have become more widely used and popular. Sustainable transportation positively impacts air quality, traffic safety, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Source 1 and source 2 both talk about how important transportation sustainability is. They both show the need for it and show what having it will improve. The most important thing in my research is that we need to promote and create transportation sustainability. I also find it important to make sure that the way we travel is safe and will not worsen our lives or the environment. It is important to reduce our pollution and have better air quality. Knowing the consequences that will occur if something doesn't change it also a part of my research.

Week Six

This article talks about how electric cars can help to improve the environment and help with the climate. It talks about the different types of electric cars and their advantages. It talks about the improvements that have been made with electric cars.

This article is useful to my research project because it shows another reason for why electric cars are needed and what they can do to help. It shows the good that has already come about by moving to using electric cars such as helping with the climate and reducing the amount of pollution in the air.
